Balanced Audio is headed by James Billinge: a mixing a mastering engineer with 16 years experience in multiple studios, producing gold and platinum records. He has just spent a year honing his craft under multi grammy award winning Prash ‘Engine-Earz’ Mistry assisting on huge records for all the major record labels, for artists such as Subfocus, Nathy Peluso, Nia Smith, Skepta, and Pozer.

He believes music is an emotional story, and is committed to mixing in a way that enhances the essence of a song so it connects with the listener.

He’s mixed and mastered across a wide range of genres with artists such as Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Roni Size, DJ Fresh, Fearless Vampire Killers, and many more (see credits tab).

As well as being the live centre of the Dutty Moonshine backline playing massive gigs and festivals, he’s also 1 half of production duo ‘UWOT’ who’s first release was an official remix of Roni Size’s “Brown Paper Bag”.
